PART 1
PART 2
PART 5: JUDGES AND KINGS
We continue to explore how our restored cosmism perspective sheds additional light and depth to the witness of the scriptures as reality. In the last 4 essays or ‘parts’ to this section of the Manifesto we have chronologically worked our way through scriptural history as outlined below:
Part 1 : Creation to Abraham.
Part 2 : Abraham to Moses, where we stopped after the Red Sea.
Part 3 : Exodus - from the ‘shadow of death’ that accompanied Israel in their wanderings to the golden calf and their immediate temptation in planetary idolatry.
Part 4 : Exodus again from Moses’ shining face to Joshua’s long day and Israel’s entrance into Canaan.
In Part 5 we pick up the story and will explore the following:
Judges
Mars and Venus - Bronze and Iron
Planetary Idolatry of Israel
Gideon’s Psyop
Samson - the Hero
The Three Kings of Israel
Demand for a King - Saul
David and the Parade of the Ark (floats) / The Angel of the Threshing Floor
Solomon’s Temple - Manifestations of Glory
Then the scattering of Israel begins in earnest…
Zoom out and join me to reflect and reframe our chronological Scripture acid test within the broader alternative planetary historical context we’ve been uncovering within a timeline.
In 2020, 70 yeas after Velikovsky’s release of World’s In Collision, a book titled “In the Beginning” was released by Paradigma Ltd. (the company that publishes Velikovsky’s works). Velikovsky's work on this book was not completed during his lifetime, but his followers and estate compiled and edited his extensive notes to create the final volume.
I’d like to read/insert the Introduction of that book here to set the stage of our ‘zoom-out’ and reframe.
This volume carries the name In the Beginning - the words with which the book of Genesis starts. The name seems appropriate because it describes the cosmic events which are narrated in the first book of the Hebrew Bible; but also because in it I speak of events that preceded those described by me in Worlds in Collision - thus the name of the book conveys to the reader the notion that here is an earlier history of the world compared with the story of Worlds in Collision; although it is the second volume in that series, in some sense it is the first volume, being the earlier story.
When the manuscript of Worlds in Collision was first offered to the publisher (Macmillan Company, New York) it contained a brief story of the Deluge and of the cataclysm that terminated the Old Kingdom in Egypt. But after one of the publisher’s readers suggested that the book should concentrate on one event, we compromised in presenting in the published volume two series of cataclysms - those that took place in the fifteenth century before the present era and were caused by the near-approaches of Venus, and those that occurred in the eighth century before this era and were caused by the near approaches of Mars. The unused material was left for elaboration in a separate work on Saturn and the Flood and Jupiter of the Thunderbolt. The reception of Worlds in Collision, however, made me understand that I had already offered more than was palatable. And so I did not hurry with what I considered to be the heritage of our common ancestors, an inheritance of which my contemporaries in the scientific circles preferred not to partake.
Researching and writing this book, I would sit at the feet of the sages of many ancient civilizations - one day of the Egyptian learned scribes, another of the Hebrew ancient rabbis, the next of the Hindus, Chinese, or the Pythagoreans. But then, rising to my feet, I would confer with present-day scientific knowledge. At times I came to understand what perplexed the ancients, and at other times I found answers to what perplexes the moderns. This shuttle back and forth was a daily occupation for a decade or more, and it became a way to understand the phenomena: to listen to those who lived close to the events of the past, even to witnesses, and to try to understand them in the light of the theoretical and experimental knowledge of the last few centuries in this manner confronting witnesses and experts.
I realized very soon that the ancient sages lived in a frightened state of mind, justified by the events they or their close ancestors had witnessed. The ancients’ message was an anguished effort to communicate their awe engendered at seeing nature with its elements unchained. The moderns, however, denied their ancestors’ wisdom, even their integrity, because of an all-embracing fear of facing the past, even the historically documented experiences of our progenitors, as recent as four score generations ago.
I have deliberately described the catastrophes of the second and first millennia before this era before I describe the catastrophes of the previous ages. The reason is obvious: the history of catastrophes is extremely unsettling to the historians, evolutionists, geologists, astronomers, and physicists. Therefore it is preferable to start from the better known and then proceed to the less known. For the last catastrophe caused by the contact of Mars and the Earth I could establish the year, the month, and even the day; not so for the catastrophes in which Venus and the Earth participated, when only the approximate time in the space of a definite century could be established. Still, I found it advisable to narrate the story of the second millennium first: it was possible to write the story of the contacts with Venus with a fair amount of detail. But each cataclysm is not only more remote in time from us, it is also obscured by the catastrophes that followed. As we seek to penetrate ever deeper into the past, we can see the foregoing periods through the veil of the catastrophes; dimmer and dimmer is the light behind every veil, till our eye can distinguish no more behind the veil that hangs over the period when the earth was moonless, though already inhabited by human life. We do not know the beginning; we can only enter the theater at what may have been the third or fourth act.
pp. 9-10
A few highlights from the above:
“..two series of cataclysms - those that took place in the fifteenth century before the present era and were caused by the near-approaches of Venus, and those that occurred in the eighth century before this era and were caused by the near approaches of Mars.” - These cataclysms are what we’re currently in the midst of exploring, from the Exodus through the days of the Judges, Kings, Prophets and the Division and Scattering of Israel. The two cosmic agents/angels are Venus and Mars (and any moons and space debris included in their planetary entourages).
“..I had already offered more than was palatable.” - I just really resonate with this when I read it. I can relate. Can you relate? If you’re reading this then we’ve probably all been there; when we overshare or info-dump on the willing but unsuspecting and unprepared ear. True learning and growth must be line upon line for everyone.
“..the ancient sages lived in a frightened state of mind, justified by the events they or their close ancestors had witnessed” - The Saints are not exempt from Velikovsky’s accusation against ‘moderns’ who deny the witness and wisdom of our ancestors. We are discovering this in our acid test in this Manifesto, as the scriptures are full of cosmic and catastrophic witness - but what was and is literally described is more often than not over-spiritualized or relegated to pure metaphor by a majority of the Saints. This hides what is plainly stated and is a willful ‘ignoring’ of wisdom and witness and warning.
“..the history of catastrophes is extremely unsettling to the historians, evolutionists, geologists, astronomers, and physicists.” - Because as we’ve discussed previously, they are built on a faulty foundation of incorrect assumptions. A foundation conspired upon by the prophets and administration of the Devil’s dispensation of latter-day deceit. These are they and those generationally downstream of who Peter saw in the last days that are ‘willingly ignorant of’ the truth of past and future cataclysms.1
“..each cataclysm is not only more remote in time from us, it is also obscured by the catastrophes that followed.” - So in addition to conspiring men who seek to obscure truth for power and control, historical events are remembered like a generational game of telephone, where each successive generation finds it harder to see through the accumulated layers of intervening events and narratives, causing the original experiences and witness accounts to become increasingly distorted or lost.
But yet for us we believe in revelation. We believe in absolute truth. We believe we can know. We believe in Jesus Christ and his revelation to his Prophets. We know that the Word of God is our plumbline and the iron rod with which we must grab hold of firmly to measure and navigate through the layers of the mists of darkness like as described above. That’s what we’re doing.
In the same book In the Beginning, Velikovsky describes the “Planet Ages”.
The ages of the past, between the successive catastrophes, are called in many diverse sources “sun ages.” I have tried to show why this designation is meaningful. But the ancients also maintained that the successive ages were initiated by the planets: Moon, Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Mars. Therefore the sun ages could also have been called planet ages.
Hesiod ascribed the Golden age to the time when the planet Saturn was ruling, and the Silver and Iron ages to the time of the planet Jupiter. The same concept is found in Virgil, who says that “before Jove’s day [i.e., in the Golden age when Saturn reigned] no tillers subdued the land - even to mark the field or divide it with bounds was unlawful.”
The idea that the Earth was under the sway of different planets at different ages is also the teaching of Pythagoreans, the Magi, Gnostic sects and other secret societies.”
p. 12
I made an overlayed timeline that stacks our understanding of dispensations with the sun or planet ages, as well as Hesiod’s metal ages:

Each ‘world age’ of The Fall is initiated by the movement and condescension and conjunction of planets to and with Earth and the catastrophes that accompany their ritual (cyclical) show of force.
From the flood of Saturn, to the destruction of the Tower of Babel and of the cities of the Plains by the thunderbolts of Mercury and Jupiter, to the Passovers of Venus and Mars in the era or age in which we are currently testing (Judges-Prophets). To a new star, signs in the heavens and catastrophes on Earth at the birth and death of the very Lord of Hosts, Jesus Christ, at the Meridian of time. To Joseph’s illuminating last grand sign that the world will call a comet or a planet (star) that will be seen before the initiation of the Millennium in earnest.
Each world age or dispensation is ushered in by planetary interaction.
The prophets have warned us over and over again of wonders in heaven and on Earth - a dissolution of order and the darkening of the sun, wars and rumors of wars, falling stars, a planet/comet, chaos, pestilence, burning stones, plagues, signs in the moon and heavenly fire will precede the 2nd Coming of Christ in power and glory. He will return with all his Holy Angels (including planets) to initiate a New Heaven and a New Earth. One that basks in Paradisiacal light once again. The pattern and the effects of catastrophe are consistent throughout scripture and point to the climax of the Last Days when the Lord will be revealed to all in his majesty to burn the wicked and change the very state of the Earth and the Righteous through a cosmic rearrangement.
Refer to the created diagram/timeline above - we haven’t yet crossed 1000 B.C. in our acid test - note that it is the planets Venus and Mars that are the heavenly protagonists or agents of the catastrophes described in the scriptures (and all world mythology) between Moses and the New Testament. As the Israelites transition from Moses and Joshua’s leadership upon entering the promised land to the time of the Judges and Kings and Israel’s ultimate division into two kingdoms - it is Venus and Mars that dominated the sky as their orbits encroached upon each other and the Earth and her moon.
Mars and Venus are portrayed in records as male and female counterparts dating back to ‘prehistoric’ times.
Consider this video from Thunderbolts Project comparative mythologist Ev Cochrane where he speaks about what is in his latest book. Here’s how Ev describes it on his website:
My most recent book, The Case of the Turquoise Sun (2024), summarizes nearly a half-century’s worth of research into ancient myth and archeoastronomy. We hold these truths to be self-evident:
The first gods were the planets, pure and simple.
Myths of Creation are best understood as eye-witness accounts describing extraordinary cataclysmic events involving the respective planets moving in close proximity to Earth.
The earliest cosmogonic myths of Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Mesoamerica encode the “birth” of the Turquoise Sun, a Sun which is clearly distinguishable from the present sun.
The Queen of Heaven referenced in the Old Testament and in countless other ancient traditions around the globe is to be identified with the planet Venus.
The Warrior-Hero—represented by such familiar figures as Heracles, Gilgamesh, Samson, and Cuchulainn—is to be identified with the planet Mars.
The global myth of the hieros gamos, most familiar in Homer’s account of the torrid love affair between Aphrodite and Ares, describes the close conjunction (“marriage”) of Venus and Mars.
The origin of the primary institutions of human civilization—religion, drama, dance, music, philosophy, monumental architecture, New Year’s ritual, marriage, sports, etc.—is firmly rooted in, and ultimately inseparable from, the catastrophic events involving the respective planets.
The history of the solar system recounted in modern textbooks is utterly wrongheaded and divorced from reality.
[5:00-7:30 in the video] Consider Abraham’s cosmogonic recounting in our Book of Abraham which includes an explanation of Egyptian governmental intent - it parallel’s this concept of Zep Tepi. They were attempting to “imitate that order established by the fathers in the first generations”.
In short - the ‘Turquoise Sun’ the ancients described in myth was the conjunction (or overlapping) and plasma metamorphosis of Mars and Venus and Earth from an earthbound perspective during the collapse of the polar column after the Flood until our current orbital settling.
Their union caused fire (remember our dive into Nibley’s Circle and Square article? Nibley - he describes creation as a butter churn or a bow drill, just the same) - Mars receives his immortality in the myths by being burned-purified at stake on a hill, by passing through the fire. Sounding familiar? It’s easier to see how this all gets distorted and diffused through idolatrous manipulations when you understand the true source and symbolism.
As Cochran mentioned - Mars was described at various times to appear to sit in the lap of Venus, or mate with her (Hieros Gamos = Holy or Sacred Marriage), or wear her as a crown as the King of Heaven and a shield in battle as the Lord of War, or to be the subject of a cosmic tug of war between Venus and Earth - growing small and then growing large and exchanging bolts and spears of lightning leaving electrically scarred the surfaces of all involved. And so on. This is how the two were described globally across disparate cultures by our eyewitness ancestors in their mythologies. From the Skidi Pawnee, to the Greeks, to the Aztecs, to the Chinese.
Bride and Bridegroom.
Male and Female.
Husband and Wife.
Jack and Jill.
Venus and Mars.
Here are some graphics I took from the previous video that help to imagine what has been described by ancient witnesses.

The plasma interactions between Venus and Mars are the cosmic backdrop for the myths that evolved during the end of the Bronze age and into the Iron Age. This is the setting that the Judges, Kings, and Prophets of the Old Testament live within. They witnessed planetary catastrophe and fire from Mars. Mars was this era’s prototype King of Heaven wearing the Queen of Heaven like a crown. Mars was Baal - the Molochian doctrines of passing through the fire reflect the example of Mars as mentioned above. As is his modus operandi, Satan assumed the form of this symbol of the prototypical ‘Hero’ and Deliverer of myth to mingle his carnal philosophies with the truth of scripture.
Keep these looming planets and Satan’s inversion tactics in mind as an empathetic filter for the idolatry so frequently and painfully practiced and prophetically condemned in Israel.
JUDGES: PLANETARY IDOLATRY OF ISRAEL
The last chapter of the Book of Joshua is the perfect prelude and introduction, a foreshadow even, to the era of the reign of Judges in Israel that follows Joshua’s death.
Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to a land (Shechem) where the Lord had appeared to Abraham before and where he built an altar2. There, he gives a valedictory3 or his final address as their leader.
He recites how the Lord has blessed Israel and warns them repeatedly about serving ‘other’ gods. It is the central point of his final thoughts and a prophetic focus and exhortation on what would be Israel’s downfall and weakness to follow (planetary idolatry).
Our framework reminds us that in context, Joshua is primarily pointing to planetary idolatry when he warns of ‘other’ or ‘strange’ gods.
“The sun and moon were early selected as outward symbols of all-pervading power, and the worship of the heavenly bodies was not only the most ancient but the most prevalent system of idolatry. Taking its rise in the plains of Chaldea, it spread through Egypt, Greece, Scythia, and even Mexico and Ceylon [Sri Lanka].”
Smith, Dictionary of the Bible, “idolatry,” p. 263
We can find more details on this context in the Old Testament Institute manual in a section called Enrichment Section F: Idolatry: Ancient and Modern. See specifically section F-7 “The more well-known false gods of the Old Testament” about halfway down the section. The names listed are, Ashtoreth, Baal, Chemosh, Dagon, and Molech.
This is a very small list of various names for planetary idols. The names of these gods and their archetypal descriptions and actions were ascribed to the planets and stars. In our framework, each of these names refers to one of the 7 planetary bodies
Ashtoreth/Astarte was the Zidonian (Phoenician) Queen of Heaven, Goddess of love, war, and fertility.
Other names for Ashtoreth include:
Inanna (Sumerian)
Ishtar (Akkadian)
Aphrodite (Greek)
Astarte/Asherah (Canaanite)
Pinikir (Elamite)
Shaushka (Hurrian)
Libat (Mandaean)
Isis (Egyptian)

Back to Joshua 24:
In this transformative experience of faithful resonance, the people answer Joshua’s challenge and commit themselves again to serve only the Lord Jehovah.
Joshua makes Israel double-down and witness to their decision by making a covenant with them - a stone monument is erected to signify this moment4.
This valedictory experience by a Prophet-leader/king is repeated in the Book of Mormon with the righteous King Benjamin. See Mosiah (a variation on the name Moses) chapters 1-6. The cause of the later moral unraveling and the breaking of covenants by the people made in both of these cases is clearly stated in the text as the product of cultural forgetting.
In the case of King Benjamin and his people we read in Mosiah 26 that it was the very next generation that began a snowball of unbelief that would cause much dissention as it grew in size through time.
Similar to the Book of Judges and the history of Israel, the Book of Mormon vividly illustrates the pride cycle and its occurrence among God's covenant people. For instance, in 4th Nephi, we witness a Zion-like branch of Israel’s descendants flourishing for three generations after Christ's appearance in America as the Resurrected Lord, only to succumb to generational forgetting and a total cultural contamination of wickedness.
For Joshua and Israel - it was the same fate. Judges Chapter 1 is a record of how Israel goes to war and is commanded to conquer the land of Canaan, but the tribes don’t clear the land of the inhabitants as commanded and leave remnants - setting up the way by which future generations of Israel will fall captive and tempted by the other gods of those left behind. In a crude way, it’s like drilling and cleaning a tooth cavity but leaving plaque inside before filling the site. Eventual contamination is nearly guaranteed.
Chapter 2 is where the generational challenge of cultural forgetting is manifest and recorded. See verses 7-13:
In verses 7 and 10-11 the contrast is drawn between those who served God and the generations who came later that did evil. Those who witnessed the works of the LORD during the days of Joshua were faithful and those who knew not those days or works of the Lord were lulled into apostasy.
“And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth” = these are planetary idols/gods, and they are identified in our framework as Venus and Mars as the Queen and Warrior or Lord of Heaven respectively.
The Lord is then angered with Israel and there is judgment against them for their idolatry (see the verses 14-23 below). Still, the whole record and account in the Book of Judges witnesses to not only the justice exercised upon Israel by providing them opportunities to prove their faith in Him amidst some self-inflicted trials and wars - but equally of his patience and mercy that he extends to them by his raising up of deliverers or Judges to them.
Right away in the next chapter (Judges 3), the Israelites intermarry with the Canaanites, then find themselves surrounded and in trouble with their neighbors. They cry for deliverance to the Lord.
So it is that during the roughly 150 years of the reign of the Judges over the 12 tribes of Israel (~1200BC-1050), there were 12 primary Judges or hero Deliverers called.
Here’s a list:
Othniel
Ehud
Shamgar
Deborah
Gideon
Tola
Jair
Jephthah
Ibzan
Elon
Abdon
Samson
It was also during that same time period that the Trojan War (the mythical war between the Greeks [the Achaeans] and the Trojans) is slated to have taken place. The Battle of Troy is associated with the events described in Homer’s Iliad and the Odyssey and the the Greeks considered this era to be the Heroic Age - a period populated by legendary heroes and demigods that heavily influenced their foundational culture and beliefs. Very similar to the stories we find in Judges. Heroes like Achilles and Odysseus or Menelaus of Sparta, Hector, Paris, or Aeneas and so on.
The myths surrounding this era, including those of the war, were especially foundational to Greek and later Roman culture and identity. These myths included Mars (Ares) and Venus (Pallas-Athene/Aphrodite) as present and as the primary cosmic protagonists affecting the story and the literal battlefield. Mars seemingly fighting on the side of the Trojans and Venus for the Achaeans. Not only did they fight a war (an echo of theomachy or a war in heaven archetypes) but sometimes the appearance of Mars and Venus and their union was described as sexual, and so that theme is also prevalent. These are temple themes: cosmogony, war in heaven, union of male and female, a Redeemer, a new creation.. and so on.
Mars/Ares was the prototypical male figure, the God of war, the archetypal hero. Venus - the female counterpart. We find many of the same divine and carnal characteristics described in the Judges sent to Israel as we do in the demigods described in world mythologies written during the same general time period.
GIDEON’S PSYOP
Judges 7 - Gideon & his 300. This particular story makes much more sense under the light of our cosmic/catastrophic layer. Let’s read it.
The image of a barley cake tumbling into the host brings thoughts of mana from heaven to mind - and all the cosmic noise and burning danger that accompanies it.
Gideon then instructs his reduced army to engage in a psychological operation (psyop) against the Midianites which ultimately frightens them into fleeing from their position. Gideon and his 300 used pitchers and lights and trumpets to perhaps imitate the sights and sounds and foreboding signs of a catastrophic encounter with the sword of heaven. Or in this case the sword of Gideon, which is acting as an extension of the Sword of the Lord of Heaven. This is an otherwise silly story without cosmic/cultural context. Remember how comets have been documented and drawn as swords - I’ve included some images below. We’ll also go into more detail later at how Mars is given the epitaph of “sword god”.
MANOAH AND THE ANGEL
We see another biblical story that rings with electricity in the visitation of an angel of the Lord to Manoah and his barren wife. This angel announces the birth of Samson to deliver Israel from a 40 year bondage to the Philistines, but Manoah and his wife don’t know for certain that this messenger is an angel of the Lord until the end of their encounter with him. Let’s explore it in the 13th Chapter of the Book of Judges.
Manoah’s wife describes the man’s countenance as that of an angel, and terrible. (We understand it to be as light/flame - like Moses who frightened the Israelites with his transfigured countenance at Sinai and had to wear a veil)
Manoah then follows the wonderful pattern of personal revelation that we see demonstrated by those of faith as he “entreats” the Lord to learn for himself of his wife’s witness.
Manoah, still not knowing for certain that it is an angel, offers to take the man in and to cook up some sheep - they then have a revealing conversation involving the messenger’s name. This could be understood that Manoah was obliviously failing heavenly messenger etiquette, yet the angel was forgiving. It’s also claimed that ‘secret’ there could be translated as Wonderful which still in turn points to Jehovah.
Then a manifestation occurs before their eyes - the angel ascends into heaven upon the flames of the offering. Pillars and flames and conduits of light as a means of travel for heavenly beings.. that’s right on the nose in a plasma/electric universe.
We will see Prophets and even Christ himself later ascend upon the flame of sacrifice to heaven in similar manner.
SAMSON - THE HERO
So it happened that by the blessing of God, Manoah’s barren wife miraculously bore Samson - the 12th and final Judge and deliverer of Israel during this transition period for the young nation and Daughter of Zion. Here are some cosmic points that I’d like to make sure our acid test reveals that I feel enhance our understanding of the story and further legitimize our framework and added cosmic layer.
Samson’s strength a spiritual Gift (light)
Samson’s hair as tassel - covenant connection to Heaven
Pillars of Giza as the Pillars of Heaven
As a youth - Samson experienced the Gift of physical strength in the Spirit insomuch that he defended himself from a young lion with his bare hands and the power of the Lord. Recall how the Lion is also a solar symbol of consumption and royalty - interesting how this formative experience is highlighted in the young Judge’s life in scripture as if it were a signifier, a sign or foreshadowing of his expected role in and affect on Israel.
The footnote to 6a above leads us to 1 Nephi 7:17-18. It’s the story of Nephi using the Gift of strength in the Spirit to break the bands on his wrists after being attacked by his brothers.
A body full of the Spirit (Light) can manifest great physical strength. It’s clear that Samson is a walking example of this spiritual Gift likely granted to him through his Nazerite vow [similar to covenant relationship].
Samson > Hero Archetype > Hercules > Mars
Samson, like the Greek Heracles (who corresponds to the planet Mars), embodies the archetypal hero through his extraordinary strength, divine birth, and a life marked by both heroic feats and tragic flaws. Each of these figures is born with a divine purpose—Samson as a Nazerite dedicated to God to deliver Israel, Heracles as a demigod destined to face immense challenges on his journey through apotheosis. Samson's legendary acts for the 12 Tribes, like slaying a lion and fighting thousands with a jawbone and destroying the Philistine temple, parallel Heracles' Twelve Labors - while his downfall due to selfishness and betrayal (breaking his vows/covenants) mirrors the internal struggles of Heracles.
Let’s take a closer look at this comparison from this article titled “Samson is Mars and Delilah is Venus”.
Now what of this idea that Samson’s uncut and long hair somehow held his power? It’s a symbolic embodiment of his divine covenant and the source of his strength, from the God of Heaven and the higher spheres. Hair in the heavens (according to our cosmic layer) is symbolic of plasma discharge and the flow of light and energy from a higher governing power.
Just like the manifestation of the pillar of fire and smoke was a connecting hairlike braid between the Tabernacle and Jehovah - the original polar configuration also featured a long hairlike braid between planets in alignment - featuring Mars and Venus at the center.
Consider that the very word ‘comet’ has the implied meaning of ‘wearing long hair’, and as a ‘long-haired star’.
His hair, uncut since birth as part of his Nazerite vow, serves as both the physical manifestation and the spiritual connection to the divine power granted to him. When Delilah deceives him into revealing this secret, and his hair is cut, it signifies the breaking of a covenant, resulting in the loss of his strength and divine protection. This moment is pivotal in the narrative, illustrating how Samson's strength is not merely physical but deeply intertwined with his spiritual devotion and identity. In an eternal perspective - the physical and spiritual are always intertwined, it is all material5.
In other words, Samson’s hair is symbolic of his special endowment from Heaven.
Here’s an artistic version that I have envisioned and created that shows a parting of the veil and Mars in a plasma conjunction visibly displaying his plasma hair and crown from Venus.
Bring your mind to think of the Temple ceremonial cap and tassel. It wasn’t until very recently that the tassel part of the cap and gown became an optional feature (a potentially foreboding sign of trying times in itself). Our cosmism layer of understanding unlocks this symbol where a literal connection from the head to the governing shoulder and body is maintained. This imagery is comparable to the guiding interplanetary pillars of fire of the Exodus and/or the even earlier paradisical plasma connection between the planets of the Polar Configuration and Saturn/Kolob - where they were endowed in a greater light and visible columns or pillars of fire/light were manifested.
I imagine and see this symbolic witness in all of the light fixtures of the Holy Temple. It’s that divine LIGHT reaching down to us and illuminating our every move. It stacks cleanly with the symbolism of the Menorah as the Tree of Life and Paradisical Earth as well. Also, if the Temple is representative of an Eternal Body (as our perspective has uncovered and demonstrated) - then the light fixtures and the light inside represent the Holy Ghost and the bodily spirit fluid6 or light that will power and energize our resurrected bodies. Celestial Light.

Consider how this tassel feature/symbol is not only present in University/College graduation ceremonial garb (pretend Temples or “Universe-ities”), but also in Kingship and tribal leadership vestiture. An endowment of knowledge/wisdom, an endowment of divine right. Remember Nibley’s Leaders and Managers talk on the black robes of a false priesthood?

We are given access to divine knowledge and wisdom in the Temple. We are anointed Kings and Queens of the Most High in the Temple. Our rituals and symbolism are rich and ancient - eternally consistent with Celestial Law.
The last point on Samson (as a Mars archetype) that I’ve noted myself in study is the parallel of Samson’s destruction of the Pillars of Giza with the dissolution of the Pillars of Heaven of the ancient polar configuration. The bringing down of the pillars is an entirely consistent pairing with the ‘cutting of hair’ as both suggest the disruption of the polar column and the energy holding it together to the collapse of the once standing cosmic Heaven Man of the Golden Age. The destruction of the Tower of Babel being an echoed archetype as well. It’s the fall of the Celestial Temple (body/man/family of planets).
Cutting ties/hair and collapsing pillars its the story of the cosmic fall. It’s fitting too that Samson is considered the last of the 12 Judges of Israel, ushering in a new era of Kings and Prophets - just as the fall of the Golden Age ushered in the Silver - a new reckoning. Along the same timeline - this transition from Judges in Israel to Kings happens in near tandem with the transition from Bronze to Iron ages according to the world.
THE THREE KINGS OF ISRAEL
1. SAUL
As the Earth-changing upheavals involving Mars and Venus of the previous centuries subsided in frequency and power - the nation-states all around began to centralize their powers into monarchies and to form alliances. Israel, who was then a loose collection of tribes, desired to follow the same political trend after war with the Philistines. They petitioned Samuel to ask the Lord for a King - but they themselves were following after other gods. Here are the chapter headings of the transition from the Judges and Ruth (who remaining faithful, ends up in Bethlehem and gives birth to Obed, through whom came David and later Christ) to Samuel and the era of Kings in Israel.
The Lord agrees to the people’s petition, but Samuel is commanded to give them a warning. Samuel relays God’s warning, describing how a king will draft their sons for his army, take their daughters for service, claim the best of their fields and produce, and generally impose burdens on them (1 Samuel 8:11-18). The warning emphasizes that a human king will bring oppression and hardship, contrasting with the benevolent and just rule of God, who was always right there. But what do the people say?
The request for a king is a rejection of God’s direct rule over Israel. The people’s desire to be like other nations contrasts with their unique calling to be a holy people under God’s leadership, set apart. This is such a familiar song that we all sing today - but this is the apostasy and scattering of Israel in stages.
In the following Chapters in the Book of Samuel, Saul (which is a name meaning “to ask” or “to inquire” as Saul was “asked for”) is anointed to be the King. Take note of how he is given a new heart. It is very appropriate given our covenants and our added perspective potentially from the white stone thesis.
But sadly - and as the pride cycle pattern repeats for all 3 Kings of a unified Kingdom of Israel - Saul would succumb to the carnal man and strange gods and lose his divine favor through sin and his life in battle to the Philistines.
David would then be anointed by the Prophet7 and eventually succeed Saul as the 2nd King of all the unified ancient Kingdom of Israel.
2. DAVID
Before diving into two topics that I recognize as being enhanced by and consistent with our cosmic filter (The parade of the Ark to Jerusalem, and the angel of the threshing floor), I wanted to give honorable mention to the fact that David’s heart is expressly mentioned as a reason he is chosen8, he also slays a young lion (and a bear) as a youth9, and is the one to take down Goliath the Giant of the Philistines with a stone and his (Goliath) own sword.
The symbolism of the lion and bear and Goliath can represent the reoccurring broader political conflict between Israel as a Daughter of Zion and the Gentile carnal world of mortal thrones competing for total control/enslavement of will. Our Zion (God’s kingdom) v Babylon (carnal beast kingdoms) divide. David was shown by the Lord to have the divine authority over worldly strength and kingdoms.
And yes - I do believe that the story of David and Goliath is a prophetic foreshadow to the vision of Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel and the scattering of Israel (Zion) captive to the kingdoms of the world (Babylon). Like David and like the conclusion of the dream of the king of Babylon, Zion will prevail against the nations of the world in the end times as a stone cut without hands from Jehovah, Jesus Christ, the Son of David - the very God of Moses and Abraham and the Fathers.
Zion is already prevailing in many hearts and homes around the globe today. Reminds me of President Nelson’s recent “Let God Prevail” address.
It’s when Saul and Jonathan die in battle that we pick up. Let’s again review the headings of the first handful of chapters in 2nd Samuel now.
PARADE OF THE ARK
David ruled his first 7 and half years in Hebron as only the King of Judah. He was in conflict between his family and the family of Saul that took over the Northern Kingdom. After some assassinations and conspiracy all of Israel is united - David is anointed king again (Chapter 5) and then they conquer not only the Jebusites to gain Jerusalem (then called ‘The City of David’) but the Philistines also.
In that conquest - David brings the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem in a special way, as a parade. (We discussed some of this event with Uzzah and transporting the Ark previously).
Now I’d like to include a snippet from Anthony Larson’s blog about Easter symbols and their cosmic roots and specifically his commentary on the Easter Parade tradition.
Here’s a visual side-by-side to help stack these new associations.

After the Ark of the Covenant had finished it’s parade and was placed in the tent that David had pitched for it, Israel offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God. David then gives a psalm of thanksgiving, almost like a dedicatory prayer in 1 Chronicles 16. I’ve highlighted a little bit of language that softly fits our cosmic vision. By that I mean, his mention of these things carries more weight given a catastrophist’s lens on what they as a people had collectively experienced and witnessed.
The collection of themes, from idolatry and creation and glory and sacrifice to the association and prayer of the Earth and the heavens being stabilized and unmoved along with the men among nations that recognize the Lord as King - it’s a phrase in the psalm directly pleading against planetary catastrophe and the idolatry that accompanies it.
THE ANGEL OF THE THRESHING FLOOR
In 1 Chronicles 21, David is incited by the Devil to take a census of Israel. In previous instances in the Law, censuses were conducted under God's direct command (as in Numbers 1 and 26). David’s census was initiated without any divine instruction. That Satan ‘stood up’ against Israel is a curious statement under our cosmic lens. Given what we’ll read in Chapter 21 - I’m open to the idea that a comet/planet/morning star was noted to have ‘stood up’ or looked to take a position in the sky that would bring bad omen and catastrophe to the earth and so David’s carnal instinct was perhaps to prepare for the inevitable wars or battles that seemed to always accompany the catastrophe and migration of peoples during these cosmic provocations.
Here’s where I’d like to first insert some relevant sections from Immanuel Velikovsky’s Worlds in Collision section on Mars Chapter 4. This is where Velikovsky notes the association of the sword and war and certain animals and social commotion with the planet Mars. Note how Velikovsky will directly reference this Chapter 21 of 1st Chronicles and the angel of the Lord that appears and threatens David over Jerusalem.

Here are some depictions of Nergal: note the hair, the swords, the wings, the chariot, the twisting plasma shape of things, the transmogrified lion versions… these are all dead ringers for the symbols we’ve seen in the stories previously and in our understanding of plasma/electricity in space.

Likewise, here are some depictions of the Roman Mars.

Velikovsky continues his own chapter by associating the planet Mars with various animals, especially the wolf, due to the distortions of the planet’s atmosphere during this era of close passes and celestial altercations between the inner planets (the underworld) and the images it projected to earthbound onlookers.
Like he does - Velikovsky ropes together several cultural witnesses from around the globe to support his claim. From Mexico, to China, to Rome, to the Slavic and North-Germanic tribes - Mars the planet is associated with the wolf.
So this is not to excuse David’s decision to census Israel - but it makes the story and his decision a lot more relevant and understandable.
So now let’s dive into what happened.
Good guy Joab couldn’t persuade the king - and then God began to smite Israel in displeasure even before they could conclude their census. David immediately knows and acknowledges that he has acted in prideful error and begins to repent. The Lord responds to his pleas through the Prophets.
David and Israel are judged and given 3 sentencing options by the Lord:
3 years of famine
3 months to be destroyed by the sword of man
3 days of the Sword of the Lord
David chooses the hand and sword of the Lord - the cosmic chastisement - as penance. And for 3 days the Lord via his angel of destruction buzz-sawed the whole of the land with pestilence and the outer coasts of Israel with full force. 70,000 men die. That’s a major catastrophe of death in 3 days.
Now here in the scriptural narrative as the chapter continues, this is the spot Velikovsky is referencing above in the Sword-God section we first read where he mentions an angel that stands between the earth and heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. This event fits the contemporary description and consensus character of Mars as described by all the nations around Israel and of the world. The plague bringer. The God of war and destruction.
Just one honorable mention to the JST of verse 15 - I’ve highlighted the changes. Joseph clarifies that it was ISRAEL that repented of the evil and the Lord noticed, not that the Lord had repented.
It is not coincidence that the theme of ‘Judgment’ is saturating this whole account as it is - but also the added cosmic elements of our perspective seamlessly remain consistent in that theme and presentation. Mars is the sword, the divider - the judge. War is all about judgment. The very angel of destruction and judgment that points to Jerusalem with his sword signals to the Prophets to tell David that it will be at a threshing floor (another symbol of judgment) that an altar of sacrifice and atonement should be built.
What is a threshing floor and how is it a symbol of judgement?
“Threshing is the process by which the grain husks, or chaff, are loosened. It is done after the fields have been harvested and usually involves crushing the grain stalks on a flat surface, or threshing floor. Threshing is necessary before the final process of winnowing, which separates the husks from the edible grain before the grain is ground and stored.”
Threshing floors are a symbol of judgment as it is the part of the harvest where the grain, or “fruit,” is beaten and worked and separated from the chaff, with the useless chaff typically being burned and the fruit being stored and kept.
John the Baptist prophesied about this when he saw Jesus, saying, "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." (Matthew 3:11-12).
Threshing floors were usually located on high ground so that the wind would aid in separating the grain from the chaff. After threshing, a winnowing fork was used to toss the contents of the threshing floor into the air. The wind would blow away the inessentials, while the grain would fall back onto the floor.

Remember - this is the same mountain area where Abraham bound Isaac for sacrifice. Later, Solomon builds the temple on this very site. And still later, Jesus is Crucified on this Mount further up at Golgotha. Yet in the future - He will again return to this place from the East, splitting the mount of Olives in the process on his way to judge the world from his throne as the promised Righteous and Eternal King of David.10
Returning to David - he sets out to purchase the threshing floor from Ornan or Araunah the Jebusite. Note that the Jebusite king and all his family can clearly ‘turn back’ and see this angel. It was something manifesting in the sky over the mountains that caused his sons (princes) to hide in fear. This wasn’t a personal appearance to all - the word angel is being used to describe the approaching planet and its distorted atmosphere ‘destroying’ the land and causing plague as well as divine messengers who communicate God’s will to the Prophets, who then relay the message to David.
So after purchasing the threshing floor - David builds the altar and offers sacrifice. We then have another recorded instance where fire comes down from heaven during this cosmic perturbation to connect with the altar of offering. A sign that the Lord has accepted the sacrifices and that his presence and blessing is granted. Immediately thereafter, the ‘sword’ of the heavenly angel is ‘sheathed’. The planet and it’s atmosphere and/or its visible electric dialogue with the earth retracted in form and threating posture and the pestilence is stayed.
Verses 28-30 add additional context to this sacrifice on the threshing floor that further supports a cosmic view of this event and a view of this angel as a possible planetary encounter. It’s explained that where David sacrificed at the threshing floor of Ornan was NOT where the tabernacle was then situated; the tabernacle was further North and West of Moriah about 6 miles away at mount Gibeon where there was another altar established.
Gibeon is described as ‘the high place’, as it was at a higher elevation than Moriah, it would have demonstrated more reverence to inquire of the Lord from there. David’s reasoning for not going up to there? He was afraid of the sword of the angel.
This to me supports the idea that it is an ‘angel’ and a ‘sword’ in the atmosphere or space signifying catastrophe and impending danger (especially at elevation, hence David’s fear and reluctance to go up to Gibeon, a higher place than the threshing floor) and not an angelic man just silently staring David down everywhere he goes with a sword drawn instilling fear.
David would request to build the Temple of the Lord and even began preparations to garner the materials and skill - but his wickedness had denied him the opportunity. It was promised though that his son Solomon would build the House of the Lord, and also that through his lineage, eventually the Messiah and King of Heaven would come and build and bring the Eternal Temple to Earth forever.
3. SOLOMON
To get a snapshot reminder of the reign of Solomon - let’s review the Bible Dictionary passage for ‘Solomon’.

The Bible Project’s summary of 1st and 2nd Kings is another great snapshot video I recommend that adds more color to our review and also drives home our point regarding the cycle of idolatry and pride as it is witnessed in the reign of Solomon. I especially love how they describe Solomon’s rule and reign in the end as resembling Pharoah of Egypt and many strange gods, more than Moses and Jehovah their Deliverer and Law Giver.
This is what condemns Israel to Exile - Division - SCATTERING. At least watch the first 5 minutes.
In our next essay we will jump ahead of Solomon to focus on the Scattering of Israel and the era of the Prophets (including the Josephite exodus of the Book of Mormon) - but before we do that there are a few key electric/cosmic notables to highlight during Solomon’s rule.
Let’s go to 1 Kings 3: 2-5. We find that Solomon begins his reign as a faithful disciple, making many offerings and sacrifices at Gibeon (our high place mentioned earlier where the tabernacle altar was set up). Its there that Solomon has his first dream and vision of the Lord.
In his youthful humility - Solomon sincerely asks the Lord, “Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people”.11 The Lord responds by multiplying Solomon’s righteous desire and blesses him with a wise and understanding heart as well as great riches and honor.
Solomon does go on to build the House of the Lord as charged by David and the Lord.
God promises that he will dwell among the children of Israel if they live righteously and build him the Temple. This is the same promise of his presence, the shekinah, his divine light that we have reviewed already with the erection of the Tabernacle.
The Temple was built with specific instructions from the Lord and from only the best materials and in the same electromagnetically conductive manner with gold and wood and all manner of exceedingly fine craftsmanship in critical parts. This Temple is the permanent version of the temporary tabernacle and cosmic man personified in stone.
Visualize how this flows: David secures the site of this Temple by command of a destroying angel (a planet/planetary catastrophe) who has the appearance of a ‘heaven man’ with a sword of judgment drawn. That very angel points to this place where David purchased and sacrificed and Solomon builds the Temple that represents the Lord and his dwelling place of judgment - not just in function but in design and appearance. As above, so below. This same mirror pattern occurred with the parting of the red sea and the revelation of the Lord on and above Sinai during Moses’ Exodus.
Side note/idea: While Solomon doesn’t kill a Lion in his youth like both Saul and David, he does incorporate them into his throne from where he rules. To me this incorporation and the lack of a defeat of a lion like the previous kings, might symbolize his sin of assimilating into the worldly kingdoms around him instead of conquering them. This assimilation ultimately rewards Israel with exile and scattering. A denial of Zion.

It is upon completion of the Temple by Solomon and the placing of the Ark of the Covenant within the Holy of Holies that the presence (shekinah) of the Lord descends in a miraculous display of light and cosmic endowment upon the edifice. An approval of the project.
This is initiated by yet another parade or precession of the Ark of the Covenant, this time from Jerusalem to just up the hill where it was placed inside the newly built Temple. This parade happens in verses 1-9 of 1 Kings 8. Then we have the purification of the Temple by light and cloud from heaven in 10-11.

In verse 12 above, Solomon mentions the Lord dwelling in thick darkness. This might feel like a contradiction for the very Lord of LIGHT- but the footnote takes us to Psalm 97. Check out the language. It is catastrophe language. It is reverence for the Lord’s cosmic power and appearance of judgment and of deliverance.
Remember how Christ is to come in his strength at the 2nd Coming? In a cloud. The Second Coming will initiate the process that builds the HEAVENLY TEMPLE and a paradisical Earth as it’s footstool - so it fits that the same catastrophic pattern will play out. God comes in a cloud divide the righteous from the wicked and to then dwell on Earth with man for 1000 years.
"I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him."
"And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
"And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven."
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."
"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."
Now once again - remember that Joseph Smith associated a planet, comet with the sign of the Lord coming the cloud. Our acid test is plainly revealing why. Exodus is Apocalypse.
“We see that everything is being fulfilled; and that the time shall soon come when the Son of Man shall descend in the clouds of heaven.”12
“..then will appear one grand sign of the Son of Man in heaven. But what will the world do? They will say it is a planet, a comet, etc. But the Son of Man will come as the sign of the coming of the Son of Man, which will be as the light of the morning cometh out of the east”13
It’s the cosmic layer of the Gospel, everywhere in plain sight - but we have to tune our hearts and mind to see it. Let’s read most of Psalm 97, this is the darkness that Solomon is referring to. It’s a cosmic shoutout.
The remainder of chapter 8 in 1st Kings is the Temple dedicatory prayer of Solomon. I recommend a good read through this prayer with keen white stone eyes for the mention of ‘heart’ and ‘name’, like most dedicatory prayers. Worth it.
Solomon later has a second vision of the Lord after completing his construction projects - (1 Kings 9:1-9; 2 Chronicles 7:12-22) where he is warned directly about the consequences of his and Israel’s apostasy - the Lord basically reviews Solomon’s supplication in his Temple dedicatory prayer and confirms it. He is charged to walk in Righteousness (Zedek). It holds similar catastrophic language.
There are several other points regarding symbolism found in Solomon’s temple (like Jachin and Boaz as the pillars of heaven for one) and more Mars connections also to be explored. I may write smaller posts on those things as an additional appendix at a later time - or perhaps you will find them for yourselves - but what is presented here is sufficiently saturated with successful acid testing that I feel we can move forward in our chronology.
This will conclude this essay and we’ve made it to the beginning of the division and scattering of Israel and the beginning of what is called the age of the Prophets.
I hope you will write down and act upon any promptings or questions you may have had rest upon your mind and heart while reading/listening to this - once again, thanks for tuning in and I pray that we can all tune in with more power and clarity to the Lord of Judgment and Righteousness, of purification and destruction, Jesus Christ.

Doctrine and Covenants 131:7-8 - 7 There is no such thing as immaterial matter. All spirit is matter, but it is more fine or pure, and can only be discerned by purer eyes;
8 We cannot see it; but when our bodies are purified we shall see that it is all matter.
“Resurrected bodies have size, weight, shape, and occupy space. They have every limb, joint, hair, and body parts that are natural to the physical body, and they enjoy never-ending youth without sickness or pain. They are dynamic; they eat, drink, and digest food, along with other functions, including metabolism and bodily warmth.
