We continue our experiment to acid test the framework of our Restored Cosmism with the Iron Rod.
In Part 1 we explored general scriptural events from Creation to Abraham. We’ll pick up there.
A reminder - this isn’t an exhaustive list (intentionally and unintentionally - because I still have a lot to learn), so take excitement in knowing that there is so much more you’ll find on your own as you continue to feast on the Word of God.

ABRAHAM AND CIRCUMCISION
Circumcision was initially established as a token between God and Abraham, a testament to their covenant - what we call the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 17:10-14).
Let’s review what a token is:
Circumcision played a central role in the identity of Israel, signifying their chosen status as God's people. Can our Restored Cosmism perspective shed new light on this strange and misunderstood practice?
I believe it does.
Here are some initial points to consider as we synthesize a cosmic layer:
Cutting of the flesh of the male phallus: “circumcision is a procedure that removes the foreskin from the human penis. In the most common form of the operation, the foreskin is extended with forceps, then a circumcision device may be placed, after which the foreskin is excised.”1
It was ritually performed at 8 days (v.12): let’s remember our symbolic stack for 8 as a number of rebirth, renewal, transformation and mediation. Read this page, especially the examples of 8 at the bottom.
A new name is typically given - in the case above, the name “Abraham” [father of many lights, or father of a nation] was given in v.4-7.
Genesis 17:4-7
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
Failure to live up to the covenant - and that soul is cut off from God in reciprocation.
Let’s layer in the Bible Dictionary insight for reinforcement:
Now we’ll layer on our electric view. Here are initial thoughts from Velikovsky to set the stage.
Velikovsky on Uranus and Circumcision:
“Uranus was discovered in 1781 by William Herschel. Its planetary character was not immediately apparent to him—Herschel actually announced the discovery of a comet.”
In the tradition of Planetary ages - Uranus came before Saturn, it’s possible that the Uranus that Herschel discovered is the very same thing referred to by the Babylonians per Velikovsky. Dwardu Cardona will have more to say on this in a moment, but let’s continue with Velikovsky here.
“Behind this story there might have been a scene in the sky. In one theory of the origin of the solar system a sideswiping star tears out from the sun a long filament of gaseous material. Similarly Saturn may at one time have “emasculated” Uranus—Saturn was represented by the Romans with a sickle in his hands.”

This is a disruption in the ancient polar column of plasma; the world tree/pillar/axis/mountain. That center stem is the phallic center of the ‘heaven man’ - the Aeon. Let’s reinforce this with polar column imagery - the center pillar or even the connection in total between planets in alignment could be considered the phallus of the Heaven Man - the life giving connection.
“It is not unthinkable that sometime before the age the record of ancient civilizations reaches, Uranus, together with Neptune, Saturn and Jupiter, formed a quadruple system that was captured by the sun and from which the planets of the solar system had their origin—but here nothing but imagination takes over where tradition based on witnessing does not reach.”
So circumcision for castration - ‘pars per toto’ - Latin for a ‘part for the whole’. In our electric view, we have interpretive options a plenty in the mythosphere to support the idea that the cutting of the foreskin as a token (of the covenant of the endowment of the Holy Priesthood and a connection to further light and knowledge from the Father) for a sacred familial relationship with God is wholly appropriate and reflective of the cutting off the celestial plumbline which endowed the Earth with paradisical life.
Another more contemporary to our time comparative mythologist and electric universe figure-head is Dwardu Cardona (explore that link) has something to say that adds further depth to an electric enhancement of this scriptural token. In Cardona’s work “Metamorphic Star”, Ouranos [Uranus] is identified as Saturn or the same megazord of polarly aligned (fixed) stars/planets that existed in the primordial heaven. As such, this overlapping of symbols and associated archetypes then welds in other myth traditions where the primal father/king of heaven performs self-sacrifice or dismemberment and transformation - or self-castration or . This is what the Alpha and the Omega does, the God of Creation and of Destruction and rebirth.
Cardona writes: “First of all, like the Saturnian deities of other nations, An was considered the Father of all gods. For that reason, An stood at the beginning of every theological list from all periods in the history of the nation that paid him homage. But also, in Akkadian inscriptions, the phonetic writing of “El” was sometimes used for the logogram otherwise read as “An”. In Fact, in the god lists that were discovered at Mari, the two names, El and An, are interchangeable. El and An were believed to be the names of the same tutelary deity. And if El is identifiable as the god Saturn, so is An and, therefore, Anu.
Cross cultural beliefs bridged geographic boundaries as well as epochal extents. With slight variations due to linguistic nomenclature even names remained recognizable across shifting national borders. Thus the name of the Mesopotamian Anu is recognizable in the combined second and third syllables of the Greek Ouranos.
The Recognition that Ouranos was the equivalent of Anu is not new, although the identification is usually made because both these deities are believed to have represented heaven. The same trend has additionally resulted int he identification of the same Ouranos with Olorun, the high deity of the Yoruba in West Africa.”
Cardona continues: “That the very name Olorun means “Owner of the Sky,” as distinct from the sky itself, does not seem to bother most mythologists. All of which is hardly as bad as the demoting of Ouranos to the status of a human being who happened to gain national fame through his ardent study of the cosmos. Even so, as E. Tonnelat pointed out in relation to the so-called sky-gods of various nations, it must not be assumed that their original function was the personification of the sky. As far as the Phoenician Sanchoniathon was concerned, Ouranos was merely the equivalent of Kronos, the Greek Saturn.”
Cardona goes on to include several other examples from Rome to India to the Incas in which the characteristics and attributes of Uranus and Saturn are shared/blurred. Here’s another passage from the same Cardona text worth reading:
“From an astrophysical point of view, what had actually transpired was the electrical recoiling, and thus retraction, of proto-Saturn’s Birkeland jet.”
Here are some images from the book that illustrate this ‘jet’ and help me to imagine the circumcision of the Heaven Man as the exemplary token of a recognized fallen state and need for redemption and reconnection.
It was the cutting of the plasma sheath encasing the world. This also fits the symbolism of the cutting of an umbilical cord - and as we’ve learned from Nibley - the Temple is the omphalos, or navel - the Umbilicus.
“The temple represents the principle of ordering the universe. It is the hierocentric point around which all things are organized. It is the OMPHALOS (“navel”) around which the earth was organized. The temple is a scale model of the universe, boxed to the compass..”2
Regardless of the specific details of Uranus’ true form and genesis or its place in this catastrophic fall and collision of solar systems - an electric framework brings again a cosmically connected reverence to a scriptural practice/ritual (circumcision). One that is often the focus of confusion in these last days where the planets seem to slumber in comfortable orbits and out of the collective awareness.
ISAAC AND MORIAH
The Abrahamic trial, the sacrifice of Isaac - his only and miraculously begotten son to Sarah - was a prefiguration of God's willingness to provide the ultimate sacrifice, Jesus Christ - the Father’s only and miraculously begotten Son in the flesh - as a substitution for humanity's sins. Let’s read the account in Genesis 22:1-14:
A few points here that are enhanced and pertinent to our framework synthesis.
The manner of Sacrifice : Echo of Facsimile 1 - a type of Jesus Christ.
This ritual event takes place on an altar of consumption(burnt [to burn is to consume - to eat is to consume]/Lion [symbol of consumption]) on a sacred and cosmically symbolic Temple/Mount. Both (Abraham at Ur and Isaac at Moriah) were stopped by Angelic intervention - and both typify the atoning sacrifice of the Lord, who would come down in flesh to carry out the will of the Father to overcome death and sin.
Here’s a good parallel list I found.
Now, the same Saturnian connections we identified in our Facsimile 1 dive in Part 1 can be mapped onto the sacrifice of Isaac.
So with our framework, it is both a prefiguration of Christ as the required cosmic sacrificial atonement and also as a postfiguration of Adam and the introduction of death and the fall and restoration of the previous Saturnian golden age (paradise - the Millennium).
The sacrament we partake of weekly is - in type and form - this same cut/rent offering of covenantal consumption; we consume the bread and the water and offer a broken heart and a contrite spirit and to always remember Him. We are filled with the Spirit of God like a fire is burning in return.
We are the ones on the altar, but the requirement isn’t our blood, it is obedience to His Gospel. Scenes of a consumptive or revelatory pillar of fire that we find in the scriptures moving forward is in this same sacramental likeness and promise of the constant companionship and guidance of the Lord. The confirming power of the Spirit.
The location of Sacrifice : The significance of Moriah and the Atonement
Moriah means ‘God is my teacher’ and ‘place of reverence’. In the Bible Dictionary we read:
This is a Holy Place - the House and Land of the Lord. It’s the place of atoning sacrifice and covenant consistently after the flood and tower. This is the mount around where David raises an altar, where the First (Solomon) and Second Temple in Jerusalem were built, Golgotha is believed to be a specific location on Mount Moriah.
This mount is the current Temple Mount under dispute in the Middle East. This is the pivot of the Eastern Hemisphere.

Another note in connection to this framework before moving on: I would highlight the intention behind the sacrifice on both the part of Abraham and of Isaac. Both gave their will at the highest level to the command of God. This intentional obedience is an early archetypal example of righteous mind control and obtaining a higher covenantal relationship with God through sacrifice.
JACOB AND THE LADDER
We move forward to Jacob, son of Isaac - we read in Genesis 28:10-19:
Let’s consult the Old Testament Institute manual:
Our ancient heavenly polar-tree-of-planets-as-Temple/Mount-of-God framework harmonizes with this vision and symbolic imagery in a very obvious manner.
We use the ladder/stairway in this same intermediary symbolic context in our Temple construction. Much like how Jacob realizes the rungs of the ladder represent the covenants he must make with the Lord, we ascend up the Temple, physically by stairways - room to room to make covenants - until the veil and the Celestial Room in parallel manner. This is a powerful witness to me that I wasn’t aware of until I began to take the Temple seriously in my life. It’s not all ‘coincidence’ that these patterns and motifs and symbolic nods all align when viewed through this Temple-centric view.

The very steeples and pillars of our Temples also represent this pillar/column/stairway/ladder that connects us to heaven through the covenants we make therein. The Plumbline of the Lord - as we’ve discussed previously.
Jacob even symbolically creates a pillar of stone and pours oil upon it. Anointing it.
The pouring of the oil on the stone pillar (or even oil upon the head in some ordinances) in our paradigm can symbolize the cosmic reconnection to Spirit/Celestial Light. The enveloping waters (read plasma/light) of perfect creation, the endowment of exalting power and light.
Avraham Giliadi has also uncovered a spiritual ladder of Jacob symbolically presented in the book of Isaiah. The Lord is at the head of this 7 rung ladder of covenant archetypes that Giliadi describes at length in his resources. Giliadi’s teachings on the symbolic and cyclical understanding in the manner of prophecy of the Jews is an extremely helpful layer to synthesize to the foundational cosmic framework we are exploring. They harmonize to a compelling degree - especially overlapping in identifying the cyclical nature of the Exodus being the catastrophic prototype for the 2nd Coming, this being a main theme of Isaiah.
Moving along in the scriptural account - Jacob too eventually makes all the required covenants with God and receives a new name (Israel)3 and the same promises of Priesthood obtained by his father Isaac and by his grandfather Abraham. In our paradigm of Kingdom-building, after Melchizedek and his Zion-level Kingdom/City are taken up to the Bosom of the Lord, Abraham is effectively the new ADAM to seed the Earth with the Priesthood Covenant birthright and to eventually administer the same to all when the time is right. It is through his grandson Jacob(Israel) that the tribes of the Kingdom of God would spawn those who cover the whole Earth eventually to salt and preserve it before the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord - the changing of the Heavens and the Earth to restore a previous paradisical order. Here’s a truncated chiasmus of it in my mind.

12 Patriarchs/Tribes of Israel - Nation/Kingdom-building

12 Tribes of Israel establish Zion and Jerusalem
Zion from above and the Lord Return in Power and Glory
Israel’s 12 sons become the 12 Patriarchs and heads of the 12 Tribes of Israel - they become the foundation of the covenant people with whom the Lord has again been building His Kingdom (a Zion-worthy society) - they are the very lineage and Kingdom through which He Himself would be born and perform the Atonement to overcome the world and its death. A pretty important people! These 12 Tribes would be scattered throughout all the world and beyond, then, finally gathered once again before the Last Day when the Messiah returns for the 2nd time in His full power and heavenly glory to anoint the Earth in paradisical light and reward Israel’s promised inheritances.
His coming will bring the Zion of Heaven (from Melchizedek back to those translated before the flood and the City of Enoch) down once again to be ‘at-one’ with the Zion on Earth where the Gathering on both sides of the veil in the Latter-days is moving forward, especially now in this era of acceleration.

I’ll bring a few points up now to set up later conversations regarding Prophecy in this more overarching view through our framework. I’ll cryptically rough these points out here because they fit the chronology gap we’re going to jump.
Joseph sold into Egypt as Joseph/Gentiles in America - Israel as captive slaves
The Restoration through Joseph Smith a precursor to the Final Gathering of Israel to endure The Great and Terrible Day.
Book of Mormon record from seed of Joseph - preparatory
Good times/plenty then bad times/famine - tribulation
Slaves rise up against their masters - end of the Times of the Gentiles
Exodus is an archetype of Apocalypse - cosmic deliverance
[the casting down of pharaoh’s throne - the setting up of Jehovah’s throne]
Moses to Israel in Egypt as Christ to Israel in Mystery Babylon in the Latter-days.
Plagues/phenomenon of Exodus parallel those prophesied at the 2nd Coming. The descriptions of these events in scripture and in mythology (planetary idolatry) are prototypical of planetary/cometary encounters in an electric/plasma universe.
The One Vision
Learning about the Exodus from this framework enhances our ability to identify symbols and phenomenon of the 2nd Coming in other prophetic and highly symbolic books.
The Jews anticipated a cosmic/governmental deliverance at the 1st Advent like as Moses and the Exodus
We’ll dive into those more specifically at a later time. Let’s jump ahead to Moses.
MOSES & THE EXODUS
This node in the scriptural timeline journey we’re acid testing our framework against is pregnant with faith enhancing content to explore. I know I’m going to miss and leave out a lot of relevant connections and points. As always, take this as an invitation to write out and identify the ones that aren’t mentioned here that you’re aware of or that you’ve found on your own.
There should definitely be a focused study that goes through Anthony Larson’s Prophecy Trilogy and Worlds in Collision and Ages in Chaos by Immanuel Velikovsky as the Exodus of Israel from Egypt is the focus of those works from this catastrophic and electric worldview. Between those two authors there’s at least a whole episode or many to fruitfully plumb and enhance our understanding of the Exodus and it’s implications for our immediate future.
THE AGENT OF THE EXODUS
We believe in cause and effect. Elder James E. Talmage wrote that “miracles cannot be in contravention of natural law, but are wrought through the operation of laws not universally or commonly recognized.” (Jesus the Christ, p.148)
One of the new (to me, born in the Latter-day Covenant) ideas to discover that this cosmism paradigm brings to the table, is that it was a star/planet/comet [Venus] that acted as the temporal or physical ‘agent’ of the events of the Exodus. The cause used by the Lord to inflict the plagues and cosmic manifestations of authority.
Per Velikovsky, the planet Venus, then appearing comet-like, came close enough to the orbit of the Earth to disrupt our rotation/position and interact electrically. In this passing by, the materials in wake or the tail of Venus and their electrical dialogue and chemistry with our own planet and electrical environment collided. This is the cosmic weight behind the description of the events we will explore as the Passover. This is also what is implied by the title of Velkovsky’’s Worlds in Collision, not that the planets struck like billiards - but that they interacted electromagnetically.
Mental exercise: moving forward, consider the planetary comet of Venus as the wheeled chariot and HOST of Jehovah passing over.
From Worlds in Collision pages 65-66:
“In the work Ages in Chaos, I describe at some length the catastrophe that visited Egypt and Arabia. In that work it is explained that the Exodus took place amid a great natural upheaval that terminated the period of Egyptian history known as the Middle Kingdom. There I endeavor to show that contemporary Egyptian documents describe the same disaster accompanied by “the plagues of Egypt,” and that the traditions of the Arabian Peninsula relate similar occurrences in this land and on the shores of the Red Sea.
..
In the middle of the second millennium before the present era, as I intend to show, the earth underwent one of the greatest catastrophes in its history. A celestial body that only shortly before had become a member of the solar system - a new comet - came very close to the earth. The account of this catastrophe can be reconstructed from evidence supplied by a large number of documents.
The comet was on its way from its perihelion and touched the earth first with its gaseous tail.”
Here are a few relevant clips to just put this all together.
From Carl Sagan - he uses mainstream assumptions as authoritative ‘facts’ to dismiss Velikovsky’s claims. These are assumptions that the plasma/EU theories answer and provide alternative for. But this isn’t recognized in the dismissal. This exercise by Sagan is typical of the wise in their own eyes crowd and ignores the fundamental nature of the things that Velikovsky is actually suggesting and providing evidence for - especially in revisiting the place of electromagnetism in space and celestial mechanics.
Just think, they made that model of the solar system where Jupiter ‘births’ Venus just for this sneering video dismissal.
From 1972, this guy gets what I’m trying to point out - if only they knew how hard the ‘mainstream’ would double-down and ignore Velikovsky:
Unfortunately establishment ‘Science’ is a captured operation by Mystery Babylon and therefore must crash spectacularly - so I don’t believe there will be a public fanfare redemption of Velikovsky before the events of the 2nd Coming begin to unfold in earnest (but I would love to be proven wrong).
Let’s recap this thought and add support from the Prophet Joseph Smith.
As we’ll explore later and as we mentioned above: the events and signs and wonders of the Exodus parallel the prophesied events of the 2nd Coming by John in the Book of Revelation.
Velikovsky provides evidence that the causal agent of the events of the Exodus was the planet Venus in an irregular orbit, exhibiting comet-like characteristics. All of this within the fundamentally different assumption of an electromagnetic/plasma-filled universe where light is supreme.
Joseph Smith identified that the history of the planets was associated with the mysteries of the kingdom of God.
“Sunday, May 6, 1838—I preached to the Saints, setting forth the evils that existed, and that would exist, by reason of hasty judgment, or decisions upon any subject given by any people, or in judging before they had heard both sides of a question. I also cautioned the Saints against men who came amongst them whining and growling about their money, because they had kept the Saints, and borne some of the burden with others, and thus thinking that other, who are still poorer, and have borne greater burdens than they themselves, ought to make up their losses. I cautioned the Saints to beware of such, for they were throwing out insinuations here and there, to level a dart at the best interests of the Church, and if possible destroy the character of its Presidency.
I also gave some instructions in the mysteries of the kingdom of God; such as the history of the planets, Abraham's writings upon the planetary systems, etc.”
The Teaching of the Prophet Joseph Smith - Section Three 1838-39, p.118
Joseph Smith has provided us with his Prophetic “Last Grand Sign” before the 2nd Coming.
April 6, 1843 — “…Paul says, "Ye are the children of the light, and not of the darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief in the night." It is not the design of the Almighty to come upon the earth and crush it and grind it to powder, but he will reveal it to His servants the prophets.
Judah must return, Jerusalem must be rebuilt, and the temple, and water come out from under the temple, and the waters of the Dead Sea be healed. It will take some time to rebuild the walls of the city and the temple, Etc.; and all this must be done before the Son of Man will make his appearance. There will be wars and rumors of wars, signs in the heavens above and on the earth beneath, the sun turned into darkness and the moon to blood, earthquakes in divers places, the seas heaving beyond their bounds; then will appear one grand sign of the Son of Man in heaven. But what will the world do? They will say it is a planet, a comet, etc. But the Son of Man, which will be as the light of the morning cometh out of the east.
The Teaching of the Prophet Joseph Smith - Section Six 1843-44, p.286
With this - Exodus <> Apocalypse <> planet/comet <> Joseph Smith - connection, the Velikovsky questions and our cosmism perspective take a framework role in tying cause and effect or the overall cosmic context together in Prophetic language.
Joseph Smith declared in a Conference in 1843:
Joseph Smith restored the keys to properly interpret the symbols of the prophetic tradition and he freely gave them to all of us in these times of the Gentiles.
Let me end this section with Moroni in the Book of Mormon supporting the depth and breadth of what all of this suggests for us today. All of us who as a whole body and Church, do not understand the Book of Revelation to be very ‘plain’ at all if we’re being honest as a collective.
Moroni relays this from the Lord, “And then shall my revelations which I have caused to be written by my servant John be unfolded in the eyes of all the people.”
Moroni continues with a warning: “Remember, when ye see these things [meaning, when you see John’s Revelation unfolded], ye shall know that the time is at hand that they shall be made manifest in very deed.”
When we start to collectively understand how Revelation is tied into all of the Lord’s covenants with Israel (pssst, like we are on our way to doing here btw!!!) - we should expect to see them begin to actually happen shortly hereafter.
Does this match the current messaging from the Prophet and the Apostles? He’s been preparing the way with his Prophetic themes of:
This selection from President Nelson’s first address as the Prophet titled Revelation for the Church, Revelation for our lives witnesses to me that we are about to see the unfolding and actualization of the Revelation of John.
He is speaking about revelation as a principle, and exhorting the membership to grow into it. In the online version of this talk that is footnote leads to Joseph Smith.
What was Joseph Smith talking about, and likewise, what was President Nelson considering in context of the central theme of his remarks? Here’s what was going on - from the History of the Church 3:380:
While later expounding on the doctrine of election, Joseph was preaching about the 1st and 2nd Comforters, the Holy Ghost and Jesus Christ himself, and growing into the principle of revelation to become perfect in Christ. This is the context in which this principle is embedded!
Here’s a little bit from 3:381 - Joseph Smith after quoting John 14:12-27:
“Now what is this other Comforter? It is no more nor less than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself; and this is the sum and substance of the whole matter; that when any man obtains this last Comforter, he will have the personage of Jesus Christ to attend him, or appear unto him from time to time, and even He will manifest the Father unto him, and they will take up their abode with him, and the visions of the heavens will be opened unto him, and the Lord will teach him face to face, and he may have a perfect knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God; and this is the state and place the ancient Saints arrived at when they had such glorious visions — Patmos, St. Paul in the three heavens, and all the Saints who held communion with the general assembly and Church of the First Born.
THE SPIRIT OF REVELATION is in connection with these blessings. A person may profit by noticing the first intimation of the spirit of revelation; for instance, when you feel pure intelligence flowing into you, it may give you sudden strokes of ideas, so that by noticing it, you may find it fulfilled the same day or soon; (i.e.) those things that were presented unto your minds by the Spirit of God, will come to pass; and thus by learning the Spirit of God and understanding it, you may grow into the principle of revelation, until you become perfect in Christ Jesus.”
Yes! This all checks out according to our framework of seeking to bring every thought unto Christ by focusing on Christ as the Temple (Melchizedek Syncretism) or thinking Celestial, through and Eternal Perspective. We know Joseph Smith enjoyed this gift - the ‘glorious visions’ like John’s Revelation at Patmos (explicitly named) were unfolded to him and made plain, or in his words, he was given a perfect knowledge of them.
This is what President Nelson is focused on - preparing the sacrificial hearts of the Children of the Covenant to be full of light (revelation) to help accomplish the Gathering of Israel and to prepare the earth for the Second Coming of the Lord. From the Prophet’s “Hear Him” address:

“Our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, will perform some of His mightiest works between now and when He comes again. We will see miraculous indications that God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, preside over this Church in majesty and glory.”
What else could be more miraculous than what has been recorded already but the prophesied ending of wickedness and the fulfillment of the Lord’s covenant with Israel back to Adam?
“Eat your vitamin pills. Get some rest. It’s going to be exciting”
When I factor in the current events of today and our geo-political situation, I am convinced that we are witnessing the initial unfolding of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings. We have pivoted into an era of the Restoration in which the Promise and prophecy of Moroni in Ether 4 is beginning - the ‘unfolding’ stage. This moves my soul to confidence that we shall soon see them in very deed. With this underlying connection - let’s dive into the most relevant points in the history of Moses and the Exodus.
THE BURNING BUSH: Everyone remembers the burning bush
In our paradigm, a burning bush can be description of a plasma/electric phenomenon described by many. It is commonly referred to today as ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’.
Let’s watch this together:
One of the first early visible indications of an electrical dialogue event forming between two celestial (I mean celestial as in space - physics, like celestial mechanics) bodies would be manifested locally here on earth in the form of an increase in frequency and intensity or perhaps even the abnormal persistence of St. Elmo’s Fire at the peaks of mountains or tall structures. Let’s say, like tall pyramids capped with gold in a mountain-less area, or the peaks of the mountains around where Moses was shepherding.
Further evidence that this is an electric/plasma event is in the immediate direction from the Lord to Moses when he approaches it.
Moses 3:5 - And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
The ground was electrified and the air perhaps rarified, Moses needed to be grounded. If not, his shoes would have acted as insulators and his body would have become a capacitor, storing charge from the abundance surrounding him, until.. ZAP. He perhaps withers in a discharge, Uzza-style.
Not that this is an authority, but this depiction from the Prince of Egypt is a very plasma-like depiction - and I love it. I wanted to include it.
If only they layered in Moses’ transfiguration! That’d be rad. So here’s another depiction - but the lyrics here are my own poetry I wrote in the transfiguration that see.
Here’s the first verse from “Moses”:

I am a stranger to my own kind I tried to run But I felt the Mountain calling for me So up to Ra I went to find The source of Light In the burning fire a Rod made Holy Lightning on the bush "Off with the shoes!" Down Grounded Soundly Holy Ground found round about now surrounds me Flowing in the fiery fount of the Holy Mountain Change of the countenance burned of the heart Out with the doubtfulness Iron in the fire like an amber I'm illuminated higher in the spire With a calling while I'm caught call them [Israel!] ..
ROD AS PLUMBLINE: Mediation - a type of Christ
Exodus 4:2-3
2 And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
Let’s stack some other words onto this symbol of the ‘rod’. A rod is a staff. Our Bible Dictionary redirects staff to ‘rod’. Here’s BD definition of rod.
There are several meanings of rod in the scriptures. A shepherd’s rod was a club approximately three feet long, with a knob on one end. It was used to beat wolves away from the herd. A staff, sometimes called a rod, is longer; it was used for walking, resting, or for guiding the sheep, as in Lev. 27:32; Ps. 23:4.
Moses’ and Aaron’s rods represented authority, as in Ex. 4:1–5; 7:9–12, 17. A rod was also used for punishing a wayward child, as in Prov. 13:24; 22:15; or to whip a supposed offender, as in 2 Cor. 11:25 and Matt. 27:26. A measuring rod was about 10 feet, 10 inches (330 centimeters) long and was used to determine distances (see Ezek. 40:3). Isa. 11:1 speaks of a rod (Hebrew Khoter—a twig or shoot), which has been identified in latter-day revelation as a prophet of the Restoration (D&C 113).
Let’s also stack the word ‘scepter’ (and even wand) onto rod and staff.
So a rod is a staff is a wand is a scepter generically - and they can vary in lengths and in composition and in shape and form/decoration - but they are all long hand-held cylindrical ‘pillars’. Stack this all onto our cosmic pillar. The Tree of Life.
The connection between Heaven and Earth.
The Lord transforms the rod into a serpent as the sign of his Cosmic/Divine Authority. This is consistent with our framework.
We know that the serpent as well as the crocodile (as we explored previously) represent this same principle of mediation between heaven and earth, their shapes represent different phases or morphologies of the pillared column - the plasma form.
NOTE: at this point to also note that the plasma streamers or the plasma tail of a comet can be described as a serpent, dragon, Leviathan, and more.
Take a look at some plasma experiments in a tube from 1879. Reptilian and electric. I also see a Djed pillar or a spiral staircase, or a serpent, or two horns or upraised arms..
We’ll explore later how there’s an interesting argument to be made that the Egyptian pyramids functioned in a way to harness electric energy. It is striking how similar the tubes of plasma discharge above look compared to the fascinating ‘Dendera Light’ motif found in some ancient creation story depictions like this:
Even in Egyptian symbolism - the rod of shepherds or the scepters of princes/priests represented this same primal/divine discharge and order.
Note the animal head and the fork at the bottom.
It’s the very Cosmic Pillar archetype of a Saturnian Genesis.
This same symbolic stack includes the pillars of divine fire that lead the Israelites and destroyed the Egyptians and their other enemies during passovers, as well as the pillars of consuming fire that often comes down upon altars of sacrifice throughout the scriptures. Both of these more regional versions of ‘the plumbline’ are an echo of the original Tree of Life configuration - where a staff or rod appeared to run through the center of the polarly aligned planets. It is a handheld symbol that conveys cosmic authority.
The first sign from the Lord through Moses to Pharaoh was to turn Aaron’s rod (think of it in our context of a cosmic symbol of divine authority) into a serpent - and when Pharaoh’s magicians/sorcerers were able to do the same, Aaron’s serpent ate up or consumed the other rods.
We saw this same pattern with the magicians/false priests of Nimrod with Abraham in our previous episode, except the omen was a star that was seen to swallow up and consume the other stars.
I categorize Joseph’s dreams which angered his brothers into selling him into Egypt to begin with into this same pattern of signs that signify divine authority.
Where the symbols of the other patriarchs of Israel (sheaves, sun, moon, stars) within the covenant pay obeisance to Joseph’s symbols - the symbols of the false priests/sorcerers are consumed by the symbols of Abraham and Moses. To me this demonstrates the divine recognition of the true Priesthood and thus Kingship birthright. This is the power-struggle of dominion - the descendants of Adam/Shem v. the cursed usurpers of Cain/Ham-Canaan.
We will see it again when the Tribes are in the wilderness and seeking priestly authority in the Tabernacle (Numbers 16-18) - as a test, each tribe submits a rod - and Aaron’s rod blossoms ripe almonds.
I also believe that Nebuchadnezzar's dream is of this same intent - the stone cut without hands consumes or destroys the symbols of the Mystery Babylonian usurping priests and kings and their kingdoms. Reminding the king that it is by God’s authority alone that eternal (immortal/everlasting) things are made.
Let’s get back on track.
THE 10 PLAGUES: These are symptoms of a cosmic catastrophe - keep in mind that these all happened within a relatively short period of time.
Here are the plagues that accompanied the Passover:
Nile/water to blood - Exodus 7:14-25
Frogs - 8:1-15
Gnats/Lice - 8:16-19
Flies - 8:20-32
Death of livestock - 9:1-7
Boils - 9:8-12
Hailstones - 9:13-35
Locusts - 10:1-20
Darkness - 10:21-29
Death of the firstborn - 11:1-12, 30
From Anthony Larson in his book And the Moon Shall Turn to Blood,
“As the comet approached the Earth tail first, what initially entered Earth’s atmosphere was the finer material of the fringes of the comet’s tail. This fine dust was water soluble, and it turned water red. Hence the scriptures declare, “the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.” (Exodus 7:20) The fouled water killed the fish and was apparently unhealthy for human consumption “for they could not drink of the water of the river.” (Exodus 7:24) In addition, human as well as animal skin was irritated by the dust, causing boils and blains. This condition would have been aggravated by the lack of pure water in which to bathe.
It is thought that the fine dust may have been some form of ferric oxide. Several scientists (Dollfus, Moroz, Binder, Cruikshank, and Fish) - supported by evidence from America’s Viking space lander - have confirmed that the surface of Mars is covered with ferric oxide known as limonite. According to Velikovsky, as the comet Venus traveled through the solar system, it had encountered Mars as well as the Earth. Thus, the limonite on Mars may have been deposited by Venus, and if so, Venus undoubtedly also dusted the Earth liberally with the same material and turned the Earth’s surface red for a time.”

I put a little video together just to look and see if a reddish ‘dusting’ by a connection to a passing body could be supported by the visual geography even today. Considering that it’s been 3500 years - I can see it.
Here’s a way I see the plagues given this planetary catastrophe assumption. The water to blood, the hailstones (barad), the darkness, and the death of the firstborn all transpire by the direct interaction of Earth with the tail of Venus (the Shadow of Death). The other plagues are consequences of the river/waters becoming acrid and unusable and in combination with changes in the Earth’s electrical environment/circuit due to the dialogue with Venus and her plasma train. The heat induced by this collision of worlds and magnetic fields would have caused insects and other vermin to propagate at an accelerated rate, along with other more locally manifested oddities.
So I break down the plagues a bit more like this:
Nile/water to blood
Frogs
Gnats/Lice
Flies
Death of livestock
Boils
Hailstones
Locusts
Darkness
Death of the firstborn
In general - this passing by would cause the earth to wobble, it would cause earthquakes, oceans to boil and heave their bounds, ionic winds, powerful lightning storms, volcanoes to erupt, magnetic poles to reverse, and for the moon to glow incandescent without an atmosphere to dissipate the increased heat. The earth would even slow in it’s rotation and Sun would appear to stand still or be darkened altogether because of the descending material entering the atmosphere. Keep all of this in mind, because these are the forewarned signs of the 2nd Coming, as well they appear during different Passovers throughout the scriptures as with Joshua’s long day or the signs of the Lord’s birth and death in the Book of Mormon.
The fine dust that turned the water to red eventually grew to be stones and then hot flaming rocks that fell from the sky like meteorites.
From Velikovsky’s Worlds in Collision,
On the theme of falling stones in an electrical catastrophe - CJ Ransom and Wal Thornhill conducted independent experiments where they tested electric arcs on different minerals and sand. They consistently produced near perfect little spheres.
Take moment to imagine our atmosphere mixing with the tail of the comet and charged electrically; the plasma arcs at high power and altitude would aggregate and drop and ignite stone and chemical compounds. Understanding that this is a natural and electric phenomenon takes away the mystery of other mysterious stones found in odd locations (like at the tops of mountains) without an otherwise logical explanation for their origin.
It wasn’t just hailstones and red dust solids either that mixed and fell upon the earth’s surface - it was also liquid and and gases that descended during this event. Often being lit aflame due to the forced chemistry.
Velikovsky called this Naphtha (which means petroleum in Aramaic and Hebrew) - this connection he found as part of his reconstructed historical story was a big reason why he predicted (correctly) that Venus must have an atmosphere bathed in hydrocarbons. I’m going to include his section in Worlds In Collision here because it’s worth noting and considering the heavy implication with regard to the origin and distribution of so called 'fossil fuels’ around the world.
Repeating that - “All the countries whose traditions of fire-rain I have cited actually have deposits of oil: Mexico, the East Indies, Siberia, Iraq, and Egypt.”
Following the burning hailstones and liquid fire there was a plague of darkness. We can imagine earth traveling deeper into the extraterrestrial blanket of the planet/comet’s passing tail. Velikovsky continues,
“This approach, if one is to believe the sources, was followed by a disturbance in the rotation of the earth. Terrific hurricanes swept the earth because of the change or reversal of the angular velocity of rotation and because of the sweeping gases, dust, and cinders of the comet.”

This resulted in days of darkness that are described by his sources as blotting out the sun and even choking their breath. This is comparable to the darkness we have witness of during the planetary catastrophe of 3rd Nephi and the death of the Savior in the flesh.
We know in the Book of Mormon account that there were great earthquakes and convulsions of the land. This also happened during the last plague of the Passover where the firstborn was taken in Egypt - a mighty earthquake. I have a thread you can explore that tags in Velikovsky again where he ties the earthquake to the night of the Passover but also to the origin of Friday the 13th being a superstitiously unlucky day.

I’m going to gloss over a lot of really awesome things here (like the meal of the Passover perhaps having body-electric considerations) and keep moving. But if you are wanting to deep dive more into these topics, then don’t delay in reading Worlds in Collision or Anthony Larson’s Prophecy Trilogy, you will continue to find great pearls.
After the sacrifice and the feast and night of the Passover, the Israelites are set free and given an abundance of gold and treasure from the Egyptians.
It’s at this point where they are then led by a pillar of fire and a pillar of smoke/cloud. They begin their walk to the Red Sea.
THE PARTING OF THE RED SEA
After letting the Israelites go - Pharaoh changes his mind and gathers his chariots and army and pursues them in the wilderness. As they get close, the Israelites are stricken with fear and begin to murmur against Moses. The Lord then tells Moses that he’s going to part the Red Sea.
As part of this - the atmospheric pillar (called the angel) that was leading them hops behind the Israelites to stand between them and the Egyptians the whole night. Meanwhile, ionic winds heap up the water and dry the land for them to cross. This is cosmic electric behavior.

When the Egyptians in rage pursued across the sea floor - the scriptures state that the Lord looked through the pillar of fire at the Egyptians and troubled them.
Velikovsky introduced this ‘looking’ to me as a planetary discharge - lightning. It was was a disruptive lightning strike or a electric/plasma discharge that collapsed the water heap back onto the vulnerable Egyptian army and their Pharaoh.
